CØNNEKT Returns as Communication Sponsor of the AEI Film Festival

The seventh AEI Film Festival offered documentary enthusiasts nine days of quality films from around the world. CØNNEKT Communication Consultants once again supported the event as communication sponsor.

The Archaeological, Ethnographic and Historical Documentary Film Festival took place at CVAR in Nicosia’s walled city. It brought together documentary audiences as well as artists, filmmakers and jury members from Cyprus and abroad, making old Nicosia a meeting point for people from the arts and culture sector.

The seventh edition strengthened AEI Film Festival’s position as an important institution in Cyprus’s audiovisual arts landscape. Its programme included documentaries from Cyprus, the Netherlands, Greece, Türkiye, Spain, France, Italy, Romania, the United Kingdom, the United States and other countries.

The festival is organised by the non-profit cultural organisation AEI Audiovisual Forum and institutionally supported by the Cyprus Deputy Ministry of Culture through its cultural programmes. OPAP Cyprus and Cytavision also provided support. The competitive festival focuses on high-quality films exploring archaeology, ethnography and history and is recognised internationally by the European Festivals Association.
